OSPRING, founded in 1999, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in water technology research for environmental protection, integrating scientific research, development, production, science education, sales, and service. Designated as a National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, OSPRING achieved an annual revenue of 1 billion RMB with a single water purification product and received the "Global Sci-Tech Innovation Progress Award" from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). After 26 years of development, OSPRING has become a trusted industry leader in China’s drinking water purification and advanced water treatment technology sector.

As of July 2025, OSPRING has applied for over 1,600 patents, registered more than 130 trademarks, and secured 45 copyrights. Recognized as a National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, Fujian Provincial Innovative Enterprise, and Fujian Famous Trademark holder, the company has earned multiple national and provincial honors such as the "International Invention Exhibition Gold Medal" and "China’s Trusted Health Product & Brand Award." It is the only entity authorized as the "Fujian Provincial Engineering Research Center for Specialty Drinking Water Processing" by the Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and was named one of the "Top Ten Inventive and Innovative Private Enterprises" by the Fuzhou Municipal Government in November 2018.

In 2014, OSPRING collaborated with China’s Standardization Administration to establish the industry standard CAS 211-2014 Micro-electrolyzed Water Appliances. In 2021, as deputy editor unit, OSPRING contributed to formulating China’s first healthy drinking water standard—the group standard Water Quality Standards for Healthy Drinking Water(T/CAPS 01-2021)—initiated by the China Productivity Center.
